Annette O'Toole spent her childhood in the Houston studio, which was managed by mother. at the age of two, she made her first appearance on television when she was a kid in the Don Mahoney Kids Trooper show. In the year 13 with ten years of singing and dancing instruction behind her, she and her mother traveled to L.A. for a year in order to test whether she was able to pursue a career in show business. In less than two months she secured her first paid job, dancing in the Danny Kaye Show with Danny Kaye. She says that she has employed her dancing and singing capabilities in various ways. "The discipline you get from these classes is a huge benefit for actors." The debut performance of O'Toole on screen in My Three Sons was followed by parts in Gunsmoke and The Mod Squad. She also appeared in Hawaii Five-O, The Mod Squad, The Partridge Family. Through the years, she's performed in more than forty programs Despite her accomplishments in film and television the one thing she loves most is the theater. After her six-year stint in Smallville O'Toole made the decision to focus on theater as she was performing for the last ten years. First auditions at New York led her to be chosen to play The Sea Gull. She's been in several off Broadway productions including Adam Rapp's "Kindness", Tracy Letts Man From Nebraska and Tennessee Williams A Lovely Sunday for Creve Couer.
